A Quick Hello
Hello again, its time for another installment of Bryant Hughes’ latest personal website. If you haven’t noticed, this is the first personal website I have worked on and pushed in over a year, and I’m proud to say, I think this one will be around for a while. I’ve completely re-designed and re-developed the site from the ground up (with some help from ExpressionEngine) and I’m super excited to reveal it to the world and get everyone’s feedback. I have been procrastinating getting the site up and live, but today Jason Schwartz and I launched our website for an event we are putting on in late September,TheTwoNightStand.com, so it forced me to get this up as well!
Why has it taken me so long to get a site up and going? Well, a lot has changed in the past year. I quit my job with the company I started my professional career with, I left Denver and moved to Chicago, I started an awesome new job and I have been and collaborating on a variety of new projects with awesome new people. What a life!
The goal of this site is more or less the same as it always has been, to write and publish content and ideas that I stumble upon as a web designer and developer. Over the past 8-12 months I have started to become much more holistic with my personal creative process and the content I feature on this site will tend to be less technical and more general, opinionated and subjective - in order to articulate my personal thoughts on many facets of the industry I work in.
